This is an important message about Conference and the week leading up to it so please take a moment to read. We need all parents to do 3 things right away in Swimtopia (Sunday, 7/14 at noon is the deadline for each). These are critical for the Board to finish planning the remainder of the week.

• 1.Declare whether your swimmer is available to swim at conference or not. This does not guarantee that they will swim at the meet but we need to know their availability.
• 2.Sign up for a concession donation to help defray some of the team costs to host conference. This is not required but greatly appreciated! Please bring these items to practice Thursday (7/18) morning
• 3.Sign up for at least one shift the day of conference. This is required to avoid cashing your $100 volunteer check

All volunteers need to be at the pool Saturday morning by 7:30am (July 20^th) to check in (some volunteer roles require an earlier start time as noted in Swimtopia). Swimmer warm ups start at 8:15am. We are hosting all 6 teams at our pool so it’s going to be a very busy day! Parkview Dr will be closed from the volleyball courts past the pool parking lot so plan accordingly. Parking is available at the Primary Center, Tuffy Field or the ball fields behind the pool. Plan to be there all day (the meet is usually done right after lunch).

Each team, including ours, can only enter 2 swimmers for each race so please understand that not every swimmer will be swimming at Conference. Because we are hosting (only every 6 years), we do need everyone’s help to make this a successful meet.

You will know Tuesday evening (7/16) if your swimmer will be swimming in the Conference meet or not. Practices Monday (7/15) and Tuesday (7/16) will be normal practices. Wednesday-Friday will be single 8am practices for the conference swimmers only.

We will be at the pool Friday evening (7/19) after they close to work on setting up what we can for the meet. If you’re willing and able to come up and help the Board members out, we’d greatly appreciate the extra help.

Sunday, July 21^st from 5-8pm is our end of season party! We’ll have awards, food and a splash party in the pool. The entire family is welcome! Please RSVP your swimmers via Swimtopia so we can get an idea for food.
